Democratic Inclusion: A Pluralistic Theory of Citizenship

Whose interests should be represented in democratic decisions? Whose rights should be protected by a democratic government? Who has a claim to citizenship status and the franchise? This lecture argues that these three questions do not have the same answer and that democratic inclusion operates in different ways for states, local municipalities and sub-national or supranational regions.
